1. James Dalby’s Cover of Ignition’ by R. Kelly 

James is a musician and cinematography expert who’s produced a couple of short and long films. In his rendition of Ignition’ by R Kelly, he produced a classic British flavored song. He uses jangling acoustic guitar and together with his unique voice, the song is an instant fan favorite. 

2. Albert Chang’s “Gangnam Style” Cover Song 

Born in Taiwan, Chang started studying pianos and violins since he was 3 years. In 2004, he received a masters of arts from UCLA University. His “Gangnam Style” cover is one of the best that you’ll find on the internet today. He’s an artist who makes looping and playing musical instruments completely easy. Here he includes some small bit of choreography to make the song funny and exciting.  

3. Mike Tompkins’s Cover of “We Are Young”

Mike has a Diploma in music production from the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology. He has had a successful YouTube career since 2009. Here, he created a perfectly directed and produced video. His breathtaking rendition has seen the video received more than 9 million YouTube views! 

4. Casper Cooper’s “Pop Danthology 2012” 

Born in Arlington, Texas, Cooper is a highly talented musical artist and drummer. Currently, he lives in Atlanta and plays the drums for the GSU basketball and marching athletics band. In this Karaoke presentation, he goes through almost 9 minutes using acoustic drums. The video has a lot of views because of its cohesive pop music mix of 2012. 

5. Greg Osei “This Woman’s Work” 

Greg is a famous soul artist who also uses various musical styles like Afro-Caribean, Latin and West Africa. In this video, he hits some impressive high notes in the most enjoyable and captivating manner. Although it’s not as popular as most other covers on this list, it’s a song which will give you goosebumps from the onset. 

6. Fredde Gredde 32 songs in 8 minutes 

Fredde is known for his captivating medleys like video games, TV series and cartoons as well as vocal performances. In this Karaoke masterpiece, he goes through 32 songs in an impressive 8 minutes. While there’s nothing fancy in this production, the fact that he covers all these songs is pretty astonishing. Currently, it has more than 1.9 million views and only 32 dislikes. 

7. Pentatonix’s “Thrift Shop” 

This is a fantastic music group which began with three long-term friends: Kirstin Maldonado, Scott Hoying, and Mitchell Grassi. In this musical cover, the song is actually catchier than its original piece by Ryan Lewis and Macklemore. Why? Well, they have some of the best vocals and it’s funny and cool how they pass different section to each other. The video currently has more than 30 million views! 

8. Micheal Henry and Justin Robinett’s Billie Jean cover 

This is a brilliant singing Duo from Lake Jackson, Texas. Shot in a dark background, it has some well-choreographed drum and piano musical blend. However, what makes it stand out are the fantastic vocal harmonies from the two singers. It has over 6.2 million views!

9. The Piano Guys and Alex Boye Rendition of “Paradise” by Coldplay 

The Piano Guys are a popular American music group with cellist Steven Sharp and Pianist Jon Schmidt. In this cover, they have associated Alex Boye, a talented musician, to deliver a brilliant masterpiece. It’s one of those songs that are better than the original version mostly because of its rendition and presentation. Currently, it has more than 77 million views.

Emmalyn is a Canadian songwriter, singer, dancer, and actress. Here, she captures and belts out all lines to complete perfection. She also maintains the emotions of the original version something which draws the attention of Frank Ocean’s fans. It has garnered over 3.6 million views! 

11. Marie Digby’s “Umbrella” 

Marie is an American songwriter, singer, pianist, and guitarist. Her  Umbrella’ cover song has been a huge fan favorite plus it has brought her huge fame especially on YouTube. She does it to great effect using an acoustic guitar and her breathtaking voice only. It has collected over 22 million views! 

12. J.Fla’s “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee

She is a popular singer and songwriter from South Korean. Her karaoke piece of  Sunflower’ is one of the latest musical pieces that we’ve come across. Although shorter than the original song, you’ll definitely fall in love’ with her voice. In fact, for a Korean, her lyric presentation and vocal presentation is quite rare and unique. Currently, the video has over 5 million views and we expect these numbers to continue growing! 

13. Alex Medeiros’ “Eastside” by Benny Blanco and Khalid 

Apart from being a You Tuber, Alex is also an actor, model, dancer, and photographer. In his rendition of East Side’, he goes on to add a special vocal touch to the music. Although it’s not as good as the original version, we highly commend his creativity. It has at least 400 views since it was published in September last year! 

14. The Waffle Stompers’ “Somebody That I Used To Know”

This is a popular Post-Ska musical band and biography writers from New Jersey. This group of six grooves through this song in the most unique  Ukelele’ presentation. Interestingly, they all play one small Ukelele!’ They even put a miserable look to fit within the context and message of the song. The video has more than 3 million views and over 45 likes! 

15. Richie Castellano’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” 

Born in February 1980, Richie is an American engineer and popular singer. He plays this song without in an exciting fashion concentrating keenly in the presentation of the vocal harmonies. This is just 6 highly intense minutes which on getting better from start to finish. The song has over 2 million YouTube views! 

16. Leroy Sanchez’ “Happier” by Ed Sheeran 

Born in Spain in 1991, Leroy is a passionate R&B singer. He presents this song as a duet where he plays an acoustic guitar. From the onset, you can see the emotions of the song from how both he and his supporting singer deliver the vocals and interchange through the various sections of the song. It has over 5.5 million views and counting! 

17. Trisha Paytas’ “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper 

Here’s another funny cover video by Trisha Paytas a YouTube and Instagram sensation. She tries to sing the song using Bradley Cooper’s and Lady Gaga’s voice and it’s as funny as it gets. Her vocals are out of place and she even uses a bottle of water as a microphone. It’s hard not to laugh here. It has more than 3.8 million views. 

18. Mega Davies’ “Girls Like You” By Maroon 5 

Megan is a popular musical artist and actress. While she has acted a couple of movies, she caught our attention with her presentation of this musical piece by Maroon 5. With her Australian friend Drew Southwell, they come up with one of the best acoustic covers of “Girls Like You.” Their vocals are also pretty fantastic! Currently, it has over 300 views since July 2018.
